Synopsis
15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration – a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

    AWESOME…one of my all time fav!!! after watching this drama all I could say to myself is “Why I didn’t watch it before?!” A must see for everybody…I just loved it!!

    I watched this drama when it was released and at that time it became one of my absolute favorite tv-series among all genres. And that has not changed since then.
    This is a very rare gem, where simply everthing comes together. Wonderful superb moving story, an excellent music score, great cast and delicate production.
    It’s outstanding in my opinion.

    One of the most sad j-dramas ever seen. one which shows a person with full of determination to live on. Simply taught us that we should cherish our life more and always continue to live no matter what happens. Simply the best drama. ^_^’

    Excellent series til the end;you can actually understand the main character’s pain,joy, encouragement, the obstecles around her, etc.
